Job Title:  Global Manager Samples

Report to: Global SVP Contact Centres

Location: Tunis, Tunisia

Purpose of Position:                                                                                                                                                     

The Global Manager Samples will lead the strategy and execution of National Beauty’s Samples Program, enhancing customer engagement and business growth. Reporting to the Global SVP Contact Centres, this role will oversee global sampling initiatives, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives. With a focus on customer experience, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration, the role will drive impactful, market-specific sampling programs while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:

Global Sampling Strategy & Execution:

·       Develop and implement a comprehensive global sampling strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives, customer engagement goals, and evolving market trends.

·       Identify new and innovative opportunities to enhance the impact of sampling initiatives, leveraging consumer insights and digital capabilities to optimize reach and effectiveness.

·       Oversee the seamless execution of sampling programs across multiple regions, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment with product launches and promotional campaigns.

 

Operational Management & Process Optimization:

·       Lead the end-to-end management of the Samples Program, ensuring all operational processes, including logistics, fulfilment, and distribution, run smoothly and efficiently.

·       Continuously assess and refine workflows in collaboration with supply chain and operations teams, driving improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline execution.

·       Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of all sample distributions, maintaining high standards across all markets.

 

Customer Experience & Engagement:

·       Develop and execute sampling initiatives that enhance the customer experience, ensuring that each interaction is meaningful, personalized, and aligned with brand messaging.

·       Work closely with customer service teams to collect feedback, analyse engagement trends, and refine strategies to better meet customer expectations and preferences.

·       Create targeted sampling campaigns that support key product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand awareness initiatives, optimizing impact across various customer touchpoints.

 

Data Analysis & Performance Tracking:

·       Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of sampling campaigns, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve return on investment.

·       Analyse customer feedback, sales trends, and engagement data to assess the impact of sampling initiatives and identify opportunities for optimization.

·       Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring that data-driven decision-making informs future program development.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

·       Work closely with marketing, e-commerce, product development, and supply chain teams to align sampling initiatives with broader business objectives and brand strategies.

·       Partner with regional teams to adapt and localize sampling programs, ensuring that they resonate with diverse market needs while maintaining consistency in execution.

·       Manage relationships with external vendors, fulfilment partners, and logistics providers to ensure seamless operations, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality service.

 

Compliance & Budget Management:

·       Ensure all sampling initiatives comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical marketing standards, safeguarding brand reputation and consumer trust.

·       Manage and optimize the global sampling budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising program effectiveness or customer experience.

·       Negotiate with suppliers and fulfilment partners to secure the best possible rates and service levels, driving operational efficiencies and maximizing budget impact.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

·       7+ years of experience in sampling programs, brand marketing, or customer experience within a global consumer brand.

·       Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale sampling programs that drive customer engagement, brand awareness, and business growth.

·       Strong expertise in managing logistics, fulfillment, and operational processes related to sample distribution, ensuring seamless execution and efficiency.

·       Data-driven mindset with demonstrated ability to analyze performance metrics, generate insights, and optimize strategies based on data.

·       Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a global scope, collaborating with teams across multiple regions.

·       Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and the role of sampling in influencing purchase decisions and brand perception.

·       Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and drive results.

·       Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across various teams and departments.

·       Proficiency in data analytics tools, CRM platforms, and digital engagement technologies to track and measure the impact of sampling initiatives.
