Coordinator, Content Distribution

Summary

Funny Or Die is seeking a highly motivated candidate to work with some of the best minds in comedy to help program its digital video distribution across all social media and OTT platforms. The ideal applicant has both a finely tuned comedic sensibility and a deep understanding of digital content strategy - someone who knows what makes people laugh and what makes them click.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute cross-platform content release plans in partnership with Creative, Production, and Legal teams for new series, library content, and social media promotions. Schedule, package, and publish all content.
• Coordinate cross-departmental communication to ensure timely content delivery and secure necessary approvals for releases
• Support backend content operations to maintain and scale programming across platforms while adhering to platform-specific best practices and technical requirements, as well as Funny Or Die’s comedic voice and brand.
• Contribute to setting and achieving content performance and revenue targets
• Analyze cross-platform performance metrics and implement improvements to platform presence. Share key insights with team members to enhance creative content, community engagement, post-production, and design

Skills & Requirements

• Strong comedy sensibility and knowledge of contemporary comedy landscape
• Proven experience in digital media and entertainment video publishing
• Deep knowledge of content strategy across platforms, particularly YouTube, with additional expertise in Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Snapchat, and connected TV platforms
• Mastery of video title and thumbnail optimization
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency with Content Management Systems, asset libraries, and optimization tools (e.g. Opus Clip, VidIQ, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, video editing, and copywriting
• Love to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: $68,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate upon experience
