About Us:
We are a growing, family-owned company specializing in hazardous
materials spill response and environmental remediation services. As
we expand, we are looking for dedicated, hands-on Environmental
Field Technicians to join our team.
Location: Winder, GA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(Additional hours may be required based on workload)
Pay Range: $17.00 – $24.00 per hour (Based on
experience and qualifications)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and safety-driven
Environmental Field Technician to join our
environmental services team. This role plays a key part in
supporting site assessments, spill response, and remediation
efforts. Candidates must be comfortable working in field
environments and willing to respond to environmental emergencies
when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform environmental fieldwork such as soil, water, and air
sampling
- Participate in spill response, containment, and cleanup
operations
- Carry out basic duties of a Hazmat Technician during
environmental incidents and remediations
- Operate vac trucks, pumps, generators, and other equipment as
needed on job sites
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all field activities
and site conditions
- Assist in transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste
materials according to regulations
- Follow all federal, state, and company-specific safety and
compliance protocols
- Travel to local and regional job sites as required (some
overnight travel may be necessary)
Requirements:
- HAZWOPER Certification – Required
- Prior experience in the environmental services, industrial
cleaning, or hazmat industry – Preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to wear full PPE and work in physically demanding
conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to be on-call or respond after-hours for emergency
spills or remediation projects
