HR Operations Generalist

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Services & Administration

  • Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding (induction, documentation, HR system updates) and offboarding (clearance, benefits deactivation, final settlements).
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HR software (Odoo).

Government & Compliance

  • Ensure timely renewal of staff visas, labor cards, Emirates IDs, trade licenses, immigration cards, and RTA vehicles.
  • Coordinate GPSSA registration and Emirati contribution payments.
  • Manage staff enrollment/deletion in medical insurance and Group Life & Personal Accident policies.
  • Liaise with insurance providers to resolve queries and ensure compliance.

Recruitment & Policy Support

  • Draft job descriptions for HR Manager approval and support recruitment through portals (Naukri, Indeed) or headhunting.
  • Announce HR policy updates to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational objectives and ensure its adherence.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate induction and ongoing staff training programs.
  • Maintain training records and track completion to align workforce skills with business needs.

Attendance & Payroll Support

  • Provide accurate attendance, leave, and staff data to support payroll processing.
  • Assist in payroll reconciliation ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

HR Systems & Process Efficiency

  • Ensure Zimyo HR software is functional, updated, and optimized.
  • Drive HR process improvements and digitization for efficiency and accuracy.

 

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, UAE labor laws, visa/immigration procedures, GPSSA, and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in HRMS/HR software (Odoo preferred).
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in human resources (MBA) required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR operations/generalist role, preferably in the UAE.
  • Experience in visas, labor cards, Emirates ID, GPSSA payments, HRMS, payroll, recruitment, and HR policy implementation.
