Job Title: Classroom Teacher

Job Summary:

Pinnacle Community Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated Classroom Teacher to inspire, educate, and support students in achieving academic excellence. The ideal candidate will create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards, and foster the social, emotional, and intellectual growth of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction that aligns with Pinnacle Community Schools’ curriculum and Tennessee state standards.

• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that meet the diverse needs of learners.

• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.

• Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback and support.

• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student learning and school initiatives.

• Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve instructional practices.

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.

• Support school-wide initiatives, extracurricular activities, and community engagement efforts.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.

• Valid Tennessee teaching license in the appropriate subject/grade level.

• Endorsement in the relevant content area, or willingness/ability to obtain endorsement within an agreed timeframe.

• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and classroom management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior classroom teaching experience.

• Experience integrating technology into instruction.

• Knowledge of differentiated instruction strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

• Commitment to continuous professional growth and reflective teaching practices.

Other Requirements:

• Must successfully pass all background checks and clearances required by the state of Tennessee.
