Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our record label team remotely. This internship offers hands-on experience in the financial side of the music industry, including revenue tracking, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is passionate about both finance and music and is eager to learn how record labels manage artist finances and business operations in a digital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in tracking revenue from streaming platforms, digital sales, and licensing deals
• Support the preparation and maintenance of budgets for artist releases and marketing campaigns
• Organize and update financial records, spreadsheets, and reports
• Help process invoices, payments, and expense tracking
• Conduct research and basic financial analysis to support business decisions
• Collaborate remotely with teams such as marketing, A&R, and operations via digital tools

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Interest in the music industry and record label operations
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting
