ACCOUNT CLERK

Job Title: Entry-Level Accounting Clerk

Location: Obada, Abeokuta

Experience: 0-2 years

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting systems and maintain organized records.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Assist in processing invoices, monitoring payments, and reconciling accounts 
• Expense Tracking: Record and categorize business expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Bank Reconciliation: Learn and perform regular reconciliations of bank statements under supervision.
• Financial Documentation: Support in maintaining filing systems for invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Assist in Reporting: Provide support in preparing basic financial reports and summaries.
• Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for financial-related inquiries.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma is required; coursework in accounting or a related field is a plus.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or related roles.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with MS Excel; willingness to learn accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Detail-oriented with a strong eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting field.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
