Summary:

Fellows of the Interserver Policy Institute play a vital role in conducting research, shaping policy discussions, and contributing to the intellectual life of the Institute. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for governance, international relations, policy analysis, and a demonstrated ability to think critically and conduct independent research.

Responsibilities:

  • Research: Conduct in-depth research on policy issues, governance trends, and interserver relations under the guidance of Division Heads.

  • Analysis: Analyze data, synthesize information, and develop evidence-based insights on topics relevant to the Institute's mission.

  • Writing: Contribute to research reports, policy briefs, and other Institute publications.

  • Collaboration: Work with other Fellows, Division Heads, and members of the Institutional Council to advance research projects.

  • Participation: Actively engage in Institutional Senate debates, committee work, and Institute events.

  • Representation: Represent the Institute at external conferences, workshops, or other relevant events (as opportunities arise).

Qualifications:

  • Strong interest and foundational knowledge in governance, policymaking, or international relations.

  • Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to think analytically, evaluate arguments, and synthesize complex information.

  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently and proactively.
